My Napoleonic project continues, very much in the background, but it does continue. These lovely Victrix conversions by Lionel Bechara represent the company of 113 sappers/miners at Waterloo. Later this summer, they will join the lovely Garde minis that Lionel and David Imrie painted for the Waterloo Replayed project.
Some might say that a French Napoleonic army that is around 65% Garde is a little top-heavy, but I have a cunning long-term plan for their employment...
They're rather good.
ReplyDeleteBravo, very well painted!
ReplyDeleteWell, they look lovely, looking forward to the cunning plan!

Oh Simon...they are tremendously well done. You are a fortunate man mate to have so many talented painters at your disposal. Superb!
ReplyDeleteThanks chaps!
ReplyDeleteI'm without words,......I might just give up painting entirely after seeing your work
